Tracey O'Toole - prior to becoming the owner of Cucina Foods in 1999, her working career has always been food based. A BA degree in languages provided an entree to export marketing jobs and over the years this has covered a number of companies and most of New Zealands' main food groups - dairy products, NZ apples and pears, meat products, salad greens and so on. You could say that Pasta was the next natural step! In her spare time she can usually be found gallivanting on horseback, in the kitchen experimenting, or indulging in her love of travel.
Fala Iosua – Storeman & Pasta Maker; Fala is a man of many talents and skills and has been with us for 4 years. He primarily holds the important role of Storeman, but also doubles up as Pasta Maker once the orders are despatched for the day. He is enjoying getting to grips with knowledge of all the other products in our range. In his spare time he keeps busy with his kids and loves sports. In addition to English, Fala speaks Tokelauan, Tuvalu, and Samoan and on Sundays he DJ’s on Radio 531 PI running a Tokelau language programme.
Josh Fernandes – Pasta Maker. Josh joined our team in July 2011 and came well prepared with a Food Hygiene Certificate, and also a Diploma in Culinary Arts from AUT. He was born and raised in the UAE and came to NZ with his parents in 2003. In his spare time he loves to cook, watch and collect movies and listen to music, he has also DJ’ed for parties.
Lucille Peters – Administration Assistant; Lucille is on board with us 3 days per week Monday, Tuesday & Thursday to smoothly run the administration side of the business and will be looking after debtors, creditors, gst and the myriad of things that need to happen to keep things operating smoothly! In her spare time she is kept on the run with her son and dog they've done some wonderful overseas trips together and all love travel.
